Section 1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the “California Clean School Bus Equity Act”.
California Clean School Bus Equity Act
A BILL
To amend the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to remove a limitation on amounts provided under the clean school bus program, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Clean school bus program
Section 741(b)(7) of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (42 U.S.C. 16091(b)(7)) is amended to read as follows:
“(7) Deployment and distribution—The Administrator shall—
“(A) to the maximum extent practicable, achieve nationwide deployment of clean school buses and zero-emission school buses through the program under this section; and
“(B) ensure a broad geographic distribution of awards.”
