To amend title 18, United States Code, to permit payments to be made to the law firms of court-appointed attorneys, and for other purposes.

Section 3006A(d)(1) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by inserting after “this section” the following: “, or a law firm designated by the attorney so appointed,”.
