This Act may be cited as the “Disaster Mitigation through Military Service Act”.
Disaster Mitigation through Military Service Act
A BILL
To amend title 10, United States Code, to include the hardening of infrastructure in support of disaster mitigation in the definition of humanitarian and civic assistance.
Sec. 2 Definition of humanitarian and civic assistance
Section 401(e)(4) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: “or the hardening of existing infrastructure in such facilities in support of disaster mitigation”.
