This Act may be cited as the “Corrective Action Report Oversight and Accountability Act”.
Corrective Action Report Oversight and Accountability Act
A BILL
To amend the Small Business Act to standardize reporting on procurement goals for small business concerns, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Standardization of reporting on procurement goals for small business concerns
Section 15(h) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 644(h))—
in paragraph (1)—
in subparagraph (A), by striking “fiscal year;” and inserting the following:
“(i) the percentage of the total value of procurement contracts awarded to each such type of small business concern described in this subparagraph;
“(ii) the total value of procurement contracts awarded to each such concern;
“(iii) the number of small business concerns in each such type of small business concern described in this subparagraph that was awarded a procurement contract by the Federal agency; and
“(iv) the number of each such concern awarded a procurement contract by the Federal agency for the first time;”
in subparagraph (C), by inserting “, including a discussion of the actions taken to implement previously proposed practices to meet such goals and an analysis of the efficacy of such practices” after “goals”; and
in paragraph (2)—
in subparagraph (D), by striking “and” at the end;
by redesignating subparagraphs (E) and (F) as subparagraphs (F) and (G), respectively; and
by inserting after subparagraph (D) the following new subparagraph:
“(E) a list of the best of the practices described in paragraph (1)(C);”
Sec. 3 Compliance with CUTGO
No additional amounts are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this Act or the amendments made by this Act. Such Act and amendments shall be carried out using amounts otherwise appropriated to the Administrator of the Small Business Administration.
