A BILL
To require the Secretary of the Interior to withdraw a proposed rule relating to the endangered species status of the dunes sagebrush lizard.
Sec. 2 Withdrawal of proposed rule relating to endangered species status of dunes sagebrush lizard
The Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service—
shall, upon the date of the enactment of this Act, withdraw the proposed rule entitled “Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Endangered Species Status for the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard” (88 Fed. Reg. 42661 (July 3, 2023)); and
may not take any action to finalize, implement, or enforce the proposed rule described in paragraph (1) or any substantially similar rule.
