This Act may be cited as the “Puerto Rico National Scenic Trail Study Act”.

A BILL
To amend the National Trails System Act to provide for a study of the Puerto Rico National Scenic Trail.
Sec. 2 Puerto Rico National Scenic Trail Study
Section 5(c) of the National Trails System Act (16 U.S.C. 1244(c)) is amended by adding at the end the following:
“(50) Puerto Rico National Scenic Trail—The Puerto Rico National Scenic Trail, a system of trails and potential trails extending approximately 200 miles from the Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, to Morrillos Peninsula in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, through El Yunque National Forest and the Sierra de Luquillo mountains, the Sierra de Cayey and the Cordillera Central mountain ranges, and the dry forests along the southwestern coast of Puerto Rico.”
