To direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to prioritize the removal of certain aliens, and for other purposes.
Section 1
Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Prioritizing the Removal of Migrants Act”.
Sec. 2
Prioritizing removal of certain aliens
In executing faithfully the immigration laws (as such term is defined in section 101 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101)), the Secretary of Homeland Security shall prioritize immigration enforcement actions with respect to the following aliens:
Aliens who are inadmissible under paragraph (2), (3), or (6)(C) of section 212(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(2), (3), (6)(C)).
have committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense (except an offense under section 275(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1325(a)));
are apprehended while attempting to unlawfully enter the United States along a border of the United States (whether or not at a designated port of arrival); or
