Aviation Investment and Recruitment Act of 2023

A BILL

To amend the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 to reauthorize aviation workforce development programs, and for other purposes.

This Act may be cited as the “Aviation Investment and Recruitment Act of 2023” or the “AIR Act of 2023”.

Section 625(b)(1) of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 (49 U.S.C. 40101 note) is amended—

(1)

by striking “$5,000,000” each place it appears and inserting “$20,000,000”; and

(2)

by striking “2019 through 2023” each place it appears and inserting “2024 through 2028”.
