Restoring Rights of Physicians to Own Hospitals Act

A BILL

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to repeal the Obamacare ban on provider-owned hospitals, and for other purposes.

This Act may be cited as the “Restoring Rights of Physicians to Own Hospitals Act”.

Section 1877 of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395nn) is amended—

(1)

in subsection (d)(2)—

(A)

in subparagraph (A), at the end, by inserting “and”;

(B)

in subparagraph (B), at the end, by striking “; and” and inserting a period; and

(C)

by striking subparagraph (C);

(2)

in subsection (d)(3)—

(A)

in subparagraph (B), at the end, by inserting “and”;

(B)

in subparagraph (C), at the end, by striking “; and” and inserting a period; and

(C)

by striking subparagraph (D); and

(3)

by striking subsection (i).
