This Act may be cited as the “Stop Adversarial Funding Expenditures for Laboratories Act” or the “SAFE Laboratories Act”.
Stop Adversarial Funding Expenditures for Laboratories Act
A BILL
To prohibit any head of a Federal agency from providing assistance to the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other laboratories in certain other foreign nations.
Sec. 2 Prohibition on assistance to Wuhan Institute of Virology and other foreign laboratories
No head of a Federal agency may provide assistance, directly or indirectly, to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, or any other laboratory located in a country determined by the Secretary of State to be a foreign adversary, including China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran.
