This Act may be cited as the “Fire Station Improvement Act of 2022”.

A BILL
To expand the eligible uses of firefighter assistance grant funds, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Use of firefighter assistance grant funds
Section 33(c)(3)(J) of the Federal Fire Prevention and Control Act of 1974 (15 U.S.C. 2229(c)(3)(J)) is amended to read as follows:
“(J) To repair, modify, or improve fire stations, fire training facilities, and other similar facilities—
“(i) to improve the functionality of those facilities; or
“(ii) to protect the health and safety of firefighting personnel.”
