To provide for a national water data framework, to provide for the water security of the Rio Grande Basin, to reauthorize irrigation infrastructure grants, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title; table of contents

(a)

Short title— This Act may be cited as the “Water Data and Security Act of 2022”.

Table of contents— The table of contents for this Act is as follows:

Sec. 2 Definitions

In this Act:

Indian Tribe— The term Indian Tribe has the meaning given the term in section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C. 5304).

(2)

Secretary— The term Secretary means the Secretary of the Interior.
