1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Coronavirus Vaccine Act”.

A BILL
To conduct or support further comprehensive research for the creation of a universal coronavirus vaccine.
2. Research for the creation of a universal coronavirus vaccine
In general— The Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases shall conduct or support comprehensive research for the creation of a universal coronavirus vaccine.
Authorization of appropriations— To carry out this section, there are authorized to be appropriated $250,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2021 through 2024.
