A BILL

To invest in the energy and outdoor infrastructure of the United States to deploy new and innovative technologies, update existing infrastructure to be reliable and resilient, and secure energy infrastructure against physical and cyber threats, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title; table of contents

(a)

Short title— This Act may be cited as the “Energy Infrastructure Act”.

(b)

Table of contents— The table of contents for this Act is as follows:

Sec. 2 Definitions

In this Act:

(1)

Department— The term Department means the Department of Energy.

(2)

Indian Tribe— The term Indian Tribe has the meaning given the term in section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C. 5304).

(3)

Secretary— The term Secretary means the Secretary of Energy.
