Protect Against Terrorist Threats (PATT) Act of 2022

A BILL

To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to expand the definition of engage in terrorist activity, and for other purposes.

This Act may be cited as the “Protect Against Terrorist Threats (PATT) Act of 2022”.

Section 212(a)(3)(B)(iv) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(3)(B)(iv)) is amended—

(1)

in subclause (V)(cc), by striking “or” at the end;

(2)

in subclause (VI)(dd), by striking the period at the end and inserting “; or”; and

(3)

by adding at the end the following:

“(VII) to threaten, attempt, or conspire to take any action described in subclauses (III) through (VI).”
