Stop Airplane Seat Shrinking Act
A BILL
To direct the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration to take certain actions to prohibit air carriers from reducing the size of passenger seats on aircraft, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Minimum dimensions of passenger seats
The Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall take such actions as are necessary to prohibit air carriers (as such term is defined in section 40102(a) of title 49, United States Code) from reducing the size of a passenger seat on an aircraft operated by such air carrier until the Administrator issues a final rule establishing minimum dimensions for passenger seats, as required under section 577 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 (Public Law 115–254).
