A BILL
To support the ability of kinship caregivers to provide safety and stability for the children placed in their homes.
Sec. 2 Increase in Federal financial support for kinship navigator programs
In general— Section 474(a)(7) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 674(a)(7)) is amended by striking “50” and inserting “75”.
Effective date— The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect on October 1, 2023, and shall apply to payments under part E of title IV of the Social Security Act for calendar quarters beginning on or after such date.
