Justice for Victims of Open Borders Act of 2022
A BILL
To amend the Victims of Crime Act of 1984 with respect to crime victim compensation program eligibility, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Crime victim compensation
“(2) such program is operated by a State for which the State’s Attorney General has certified to the Attorney General that the program—
“(A) prioritizes making payments to victims of crimes committed by an alien who was unlawfully present in the United States at the time of the commission of the crime; and
“(B) does not prioritize making payments to victims of crimes committed by a person whose status under the immigration laws (as such term is defined in section 101 of the Immigration and Nationality Act) is unknown;
“(3) such program does not provide compensation to any alien unlawfully present in the United States;”
