Section 1 Additional appropriation
Division A of the Continuing Appropriations and Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2023 (Public Law 117–180) is amended by inserting at the end (before the short title) the following new section:
“158.
“In addition to amounts otherwise made available by section 101, there is appropriated $50,000,000 for an additional amount for fiscal year 2023, to remain available until expended, for the “Federal Emergency Management Agency—Federal Assistance” account, to be made available to the emergency food and shelter program for purposes of providing shelter and other services to families and individuals encountered by the Department of Homeland Security.”
