A BILL

To repeal the methane emissions and waste reduction incentive program for petroleum and natural gas systems.

Section 1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the “Protecting the Permian Basin Act of 2022”.

Sec. 2 Repeal

Section 136 of the Clean Air Act (relating to methane emissions and waste reduction incentive program for petroleum and natural gas systems) is repealed.
