Section 1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Alien Criminal Expulsion Act” or the “ACE Act”.
Alien Criminal Expulsion Act
A BILL
To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to halt the issuance of immigrant and nonimmigrant visas to nationals of recalcitrant countries, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Mandatory suspension of all visas
Section 243(d) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1253(d)) is amended—
by striking “Attorney General” each place it appears and inserting “Secretary of Homeland Security”;
by striking “or nonimmigrant visas, or both,” and inserting “and nonimmigrant visas”; and
by striking “notifies the Secretary” and inserting “and the Secretary of State notify Congress”.
