A BILL
To amend the Public Health Service Act to require a State receiving a block grant for prevention and treatment of substance use disorders to describe the State’s efforts to encourage and promote work and employment to improve mental health and well-being.
Sec. 2 Description of the State efforts to promote work and employment to improve mental health and well-being
Section 1932(b)(1)(A) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 300x(b)(1)(A)) is amended—
in clause (viii), by striking “and” at the end;
in clause (ix), by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and”; and
by adding at the end the following:
“(x) provides a description of the State’s efforts to encourage and promote work and employment to improve mental health and well-being.”
