A BILL

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to increase funding for quality measure endorsement, input, and selection under the Medicare program, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the “Promoting Health Care Quality Act of 2022”.

Sec. 2 Funding quality measurement programs

Section 1890 of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395aaa) is amended in subparagraph (d)(2), by striking “$20,000,000 for fiscal year 2023” and inserting “$26,000,000 for fiscal year 2023”.
