This Act may be cited as the “No Electric Ferries Act”.
No Electric Ferries Act
A BILL
To amend title 49, United States Code, to prohibit the Secretary of Transportation from making certain grants to zero-emission or electric ferries, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Passenger ferry grants
Section 5307(h) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:
“(4) Prohibition—The Secretary may not make a grant under this section to a recipient for a zero-emission or electric ferry.”
