Assessing Chinese Special Operations Forces Act of 2022
A BILL
To modify the requirements of the annual report on military and security developments involving the People’s Republic of China, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Modification to annual report on military and security developments involving the People's Republic of China
Section 1202(b) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2000 (10 U.S.C. 113 note) is amended as follows:
In paragraph (5)—
in subparagraph (B)—
by striking “A summary” and inserting “a summary”; and
by striking “; and” at the end and inserting a semicolon;
in subparagraph (C), by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and”; and
by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:
“(D) the doctrine, capabilities, organization, and operational employment of the People’s Liberation Army special operations forces.”
In paragraph (8), by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:
“(F) The special operations capabilities.”
