This Act may be cited as the “Supreme Court Families Security Act of 2022”.
Supreme Court Families Security Act of 2022
A BILL
To amend title 40, United States Code, to grant the Supreme Court Police authority to protect the families of the justices, officers, and employees of the Supreme Court.
Sec. 2 Authority to protect family members
Section 6121(a)(2) of title 40, United States Code, is amended—
in subparagraph (A), by striking “and” at the end;
in subparagraph (B), by adding “and” after the semicolon; and
by adding at the end the following:
“(C) any member of the immediate family of any such justice, officer, or employee if the Marshal determines such protection to be necessary.”
