A BILL
To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services to award grants to States to develop, improve, or maintain a State registry of advance directives.
Sec. 2 Grants for State registries of advance directives
In general— The Secretary of Health and Human Services may award grants to States to develop, improve, or maintain, directly or by contract, a State registry of advance directives.
Authorization of appropriations— To carry out this section, there is authorized to be appropriated $5,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2023 through 2027.
