Section 1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Responsible, No-Cost Extension of Western Water Infrastructure Improvements Act” or the “RENEW WIIN Act”.
Responsible, No-Cost Extension of Western Water Infrastructure Improvements Act
A BILL
To extend the authorities under the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act of 2016 providing operational flexibility, drought relief, and other benefits to the State of California.
Sec. 2 Extension of authority
Subtitle J of the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act (Public Law 114–322) is amended—
in section 4007 (43 U.S.C. 390(b) note), in subsection (i), by striking “January 1, 2021” and inserting “January 1, 2031”; and
in section 4013 (43 U.S.C. 390(b) note)—
in the first sentence, by striking “the date that is 5 years after the date of its enactment” and inserting “December 31, 2031”; and
in paragraph (1), by striking “10 years after the date of its enactment” and inserting “on December 31, 2036”.
