Don’t Mess with Arizona Act

A BILL

To express the sense of Congress regarding State choice in the observation of daylight saving time.

Section 1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the “Don’t Mess with Arizona Act”.

Sec. 2 Sense of Congress regarding State choice in observation of daylight saving time

It is the sense of Congress that Arizona, and any other State that has exempted itself from the provisions of section 3(a) of the Uniform Time Act of 1966 (15 U.S.C. 260a(a)), as in effect on March 15, 2022, should be able to—
(1)
continue to observe permanent standard time; and
(2)
elect to observe daylight saving time in the future.
