Section 1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Crack is Whack Act”.
Crack is Whack Act
A BILL
To prohibit Federal funds from being used to operate or control an injection center in violation of section 416 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 856; commonly referred to as the Crack House Statute), and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 No Federal funds for unlawful injection centers or purchase of drug paraphernalia
No Federal funds may be—
used by any Federal agency to operate or control, or to pay the salaries of officers and employees of such an agency to operate or control, an injection center in violation of section 416 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 856; commonly referred to as the “Crack House Statute”);
made available to any State, local, Tribal, or private entity that operates or controls such an injection center; or
used by any Federal agency to purchase or provide any drug paraphernalia (as defined in section 863 of title 18, United States Code), directly or indirectly through the award of grants or other assistance.
