This Act may be cited as the “Flu Vaccine Act”.

A BILL
To conduct or support further comprehensive research for the creation of a universal influenza vaccine or preventative.
Sec. 2 Research for the creation of a universal influenza vaccine or preventative
In general— The Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases shall conduct or support comprehensive research for the creation of a universal influenza vaccine or preventative.
Authorization of appropriations— To carry out this section, there are authorized to be appropriated $200,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2026.
