Section 1 Prohibiting use of Federal funds to facilitate mandatory vaccination programs
In general— Federal funds made available to a State, or a political subdivision thereof, may not be used, directly or indirectly, to facilitate a COVID–19 vaccine mandate of such State or political subdivision.
Definitions— In this section:
COVID–19 vaccine— The term COVID–19 vaccine means a vaccine that is licensed under section 351 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 262) or authorized for emergency use under section 564 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 360bbb–3) for COVID–19.
State— The term State means each State of the United States, the District of Columbia, and each commonwealth, territory, or possession of the United States.
