Section 1 Short title; table of contents; purpose

(a)

Short title— This Act may be cited as the “Protecting Americans from Corporate Human Rights Abusers Act”.

(b)

Table of contents— The table of contents for this Act is as follows:

Purpose— The purpose of this Act is to codify into law the provisions of Executive Order 14032 of June 3, 2021 (86 Fed. Reg. 30145; relating to Addressing the Threat From Securities Investments That Finance Certain Companies of the People’s Republic of China), as in effect on the date of the enactment of this Act.
