Expressing the sense of the Senate that the President should work with the Government of the United Kingdom to prepare for a future free trade agreement between the United States and the United Kingdom.

RESOLUTION

That it is the sense of the Senate that—
(1)
the United States should have a close and mutually beneficial trading and economic partnership with the United Kingdom without interruption; and
(2)
the President, with the support of Congress, should lay the groundwork for a future trade agreement between the United States and the United Kingdom.
