Water for Tomorrow Act of 2020

To provide for drought preparedness and improved water supply reliability, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title; table of contents

(a)
Short title— This Act may be cited as the “Water for Tomorrow Act of 2020”.
(b)
Table of contents— The table of contents for this Act is as follows:

Sec. 2 Definitions

In this Act:
(1)
Reclamation state— The term Reclamation State has the meaning given the term in section 4014 of the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act (43 U.S.C. 390b note; Public Law 114–322).
(2)
Relevant committees of congress— The term relevant committees of Congress means—
(A)
the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives; and
(B)
the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate.
(3)
Secretary— The term Secretary means the Secretary of the Interior.
