Short title
This Act may be cited as the “COVID–19 Pandemic Moment of Silence Act”.

Moment of silence for the victims of the COVID–19 pandemic
The President shall issue a proclamation calling on the people of the United States to observe a moment of silence at 12:00 p.m. (local time) on Monday, June 1, 2020, as a mark of respect to the memory of the more than 100,000 lives lost in the United States due to the COVID–19 pandemic, as well as their families.
