That the House of Representatives—
extends its deepest condolences to the family of John Havlicek;
recognizes and honors John Havlicek—
as one of the greatest basketball players of all time;
for his many contributions to professional basketball, the Boston Celtics, the city of Boston, and the State of Ohio; and
for transcending the game of basketball and becoming a timeless symbol of athletic talent, the embodiment of integrity, and a role model as a loving father and husband; and
respectfully requests that the Clerk of the House of Representatives communicate this resolution to the Senate and transmit an enrolled copy of this resolution to the family of John Havlicek.
