Recognizing the heritage, culture, and contributions of American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian women in the United States.

celebrates and honors the successes of American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian women and the contributions they have made and continue to make to the United States;

recognizes that policy and societal changes are needed to ensure that American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian women live safely and freely and can realize their full potential; and

urges the United States Government and Congress to uphold its trust responsibility to American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian women and to all Indian Tribes.
