commemorates underscores the 70th anniversary continuing and crucial role of the start of alliance between the Korean war United States and the beginning Republic of Korea in ensuring peace and stability in Asia and the United States-Republic world, including by providing security from the threat posed by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea alliance;and its repeated provocations;

honors reaffirms the men and women importance of both close cooperation between the United States and the Republic of Korea who have committed and sometimes sacrificed their lives for the alliance during in the Korean war Indo-Pacific, including on issues ranging from infrastructure and in subsequent conflicts;development financing to promoting good governance;

reaffirms the role encourages the alliance plays in ensuring peace continued close and stability in Asia continuing ties between the people and governments of the world;two nations, as well as the contributions the near two million Korean-Americans have made to both societies;
