Section 1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the “Jones Act Repeal Act”.
Jones Act Repeal Act
A BILL
To amend title 46, United States Code, to repeal provisions relating to transportation by water that are popularly known as the Jones Act, and for other purposes.
Sec. 2 Repeal of provisions popularly known as the Jones Act
Title 46, United States Code, is amended by repealing the following provisions:
Chapter 551, and the item relating to that chapter in the analysis at the beginning of part D of subtitle V of that title.
Section 12102, and the item relating to that section in the analysis at the beginning of chapter 121 of that title.
