Western Water Security Act of 2020

A BILL

To provide for the conduct of certain water security measures in the Western United States, and for other purposes.

(a)

Short title— This Act may be cited as the “Western Water Security Act of 2020”.

(b)

Table of contents— The table of contents of this Act is as follows:

In this Act:

(1)

Rio grande compact— The term “Rio Grande Compact” means the compact approved by Congress under the Act of May 31, 1939 (53 Stat. 785, chapter 155).

(2)

Secretary— The term “Secretary” means the Secretary of the Interior.

(3)

State— The term “State” means the State of New Mexico.
