A BILL
To amend title 38, United States Code, to clarify when educational assistance is available for an individual who pursues an approved program of education leading to a degree while on active duty in the Armed Forces.
Sec. 2 Clarification of educational assistance for individuals who pursue an approved program of education leading to a degree while on active duty
Section 3313(e) of title 38, United States Code, is amended—
in the heading, by inserting “for a period of more than 30 days” after “active duty”;
in paragraph (1), by inserting “for a period of more than 30 days” after “active duty”; and
in paragraph (2), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by inserting “for a period of more than 30 days” after “active duty”.
