To amend the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Officer Corps Act of 2002 to make certain changes to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s commissioned officer corps, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title; table of contents

(a)

Short title— This Act may be cited as the “National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Officer Corps Amendments Act of 2019”.

(b)

Table of contents— The table of contents for this Act is as follows:

Sec. 2 References to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Officer Corps Act of 2002

Except as otherwise expressly provided, any place in this Act an amendment or repeal is expressed in terms of an amendment to, or repeal of, a section or other provision, the reference shall be considered to be made to a section or other provision of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Officer Corps Act of 2002 (33 U.S.C. 3001 et seq.).
