RESOLUTION

That the Senate—

(1)

honors the Portland Thorns FC as the 2017 champion of the National Women’s Soccer League;

(2)

recognizes the outstanding achievement of the players, ownership, and staff of the Portland Thorns FC; and

(3)

respectfully requests that the Secretary of the Senate transmit an enrolled copy of this resolution to the Portland Thorns FC.
