RESOLUTION

That the Senate—

(1)

honors the heroism of Boatswain's Mate Second Class Joseph Leon George in saving the lives of 6 sailors on December 7, 1941; and

(2)

believes the United States Navy, in light of new information, should consider revisiting decorating and honoring the heroism of Boatswain's Mate Second Class Joseph Leon George in saving the lives of 6 sailors on December 7, 1941.
