RESOLUTION

That the Secretary of Commerce is directed to transmit to the House of Representatives, not later than 14 days after the adoption of this resolution, copies of any document, record, memo, correspondence, or other communication, or any portion of any such communication, that refers or relates to the following:

(1)

The addition of a question on citizenship to the 2020 decennial census of population, including communications within the Bureau of the Census, communications with other executive agencies, and communications with organizations and individuals outside of the United States Government.

(2)

The December 12, 2017, letter from Arthur E. Gary, General Counsel, Justice Management Division, U.S. Department of Justice, to Ron Jarmin, Acting Director, Bureau of the Census.
