Celebrating the importance of the 15th Anniversary of the Arab Peace Initiative as a meaningful effort by Arab countries to the commitment of peace in the Middle East.

recognizes the importance of the 15th Anniversary of the Arab Peace Initiative as a meaningful effort by regional Arab countries to support peace in the Middle East and to bring an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict;

commends regional Arab and Muslim-majority countries that have taken steps to facilitate the end of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict;

congratulates the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on their presidency of the Arab League on March 9, 2017;

supports the efforts of regional Arab and Muslim-majority countries to strengthen regional security cooperation and stability through discussions with the State of Israel; and

urges the State of Israel, the Palestinian Authority, and regional Arab and Muslim-majority countries to engage in bilateral and multilateral negotiations to advance the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and support the normalization by Arab and Muslim-majority countries of relations with the State of Israel.
