AN ACT

To provide for programs to help reduce the risk that prisoners will recidivate upon release from prison, and for other purposes.

Section 1 Short title; table of contents

(a)

Short Title— This Act may be cited as the “Formerly Incarcerated Reenter Society Transformed Safely Transitioning Every Person Act” or the “FIRST STEP Act”.
