Section 1 Improved consumer confidence reports
Section 1414(c)(4) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (42 U.S.C. 300g–3(c)(4)) is amended by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:
“(F) Revisions—Not later than 24 months after the date of enactment of this subparagraph, the Administrator, in consultation with the groups identified in subparagraph (A), shall promulgate revisions to the regulations issued pursuant to subparagraph (A) to increase the effectiveness and understandability of consumer confidence reports.”
