This Act may be cited as the “Repair Our Aging Drives Act of 2017” or the “ROAD Act of 2017”.
Repair Our Aging Drives Act of 2017
A BILL
To amend the Agricultural Act of 2014 to authorize road repair under good neighbor agreements.
Sec. 2 Road repair under good neighbor agreements authorized
Section 8206(a)(3) of the Agricultural Act of 2014 (16 U.S.C. 2113a(a)(3)) is amended—
in subparagraph (A)—
in clause (ii), by striking “and”;
by redesignating clause (iii) as clause (iv); and
by inserting after clause (ii) the following new clause:
“(iii) construction, reconstruction, repair, or restoration of paved or permanent roads or parking areas; and”
by amending subparagraph (B) to read as follows:
“(B) Exclusion—The term “forest, rangeland, and watershed restoration services” does not include construction, alteration, repair or replacement of public buildings or works.”
